Hold onto the summer and make it last with our new addition, Clear Whey! This zero-sugar drink will support muscle growth and post-workout recovery, but it’s not just another protein shake! Have we piqued your curiosity? We’ll let you in on a little secret: this light and refreshing alternative is made from whey protein isolate.

What is whey protein isolate?

Whey protein isolate, or whey isolate, is a type of highly concentrated protein powder.

No matter whether you’re using it in everyday life or after a workout, you can add both plant and animal sources to your diet to help you hit your protein goals. Animal sources of protein include eggs and meat, as well as cow’s milk, which contains the milk proteins whey and casein.

Whey makes up about 0.6% of cow’s milk and has a high content of essential branched-chain amino acids. These protein building blocks are necessary for protein synthesis and thus muscle building*. Your body cannot produce essential amino acids on its own, so you need to get them via your diet.

Whey protein’s ideal for a quick energy reload right after a workout. It also helps you meet your protein intake needs.

The difference between whey protein and whey isolate can be explained by the manufacturing process. Thanks to the particular filtration process for making whey isolate, the content of lactose and fat is significantly reduced. To compare: whey protein has a fat content of 3-4 percent, and whey isolate has less than 1 percent. This is also why protein isolate is considered to be “pure protein.” Without the fat and carbohydrates, the protein content increases to 90%.

Our nutritionists from product development have taken advantage of these exciting possibilities to develop a new product.

Try our Clear Whey

High in protein

Because Clear Whey contains only whey isolate, it’s the most protein-rich drink in our lineup. 25 grams of high-quality protein per serving give you exactly the energy kick you need after a hard workout. The NZMP quality guarantees milk from cows that graze freely 328 days a year.

Sugar-free

Our Clear Whey is completely free of refined sugars. We use natural flavors, steviol glycosides, and sucralose instead for a refreshing sweetness. The advantage of using these ingredients is that they hardly affect the calorie content. Sweet deal, huh?

Fat-free

Less than 0.1 grams of fat per serving. Whey isolate is created using a special filtration method that cuts down on the fats and leaves you with only an extra serving of protein and a heavenly taste. It sounds too good to be true!

Two uplifting summer flavors

Raspberry Mojito – feeling more happy hour than post-workout? Freeze-dried raspberries add a vacation-worthy pink and subtle sweetness. It makes our crystal-clear Clear Whey really stand out, even out of the glass.
