Battered Protein Apple Rings

For many of us, apples in batter are a reminder of our childhood days. While these cakey morsels are cooking, they’ll release an amazing aroma into your kitchen. Excited yet?
Our recipe is so easy, even a kid could make it. We like to eat these apple rings with a healthy vanilla sauce made with our Whey Protein and milk. It’s simply the best thing for dessert or a weekend breakfast.
Preparation

Put the pancake mix and water into a bowl and whisk until a smooth batter is formed.

Peel and core the apples. Cut into rings about 1cm thick.

Warm the coconut oil in the pan.

Dip each apple ring into the batter, let excess batter drip for a moment, then cook both sides in the pan. If there's any extra batter left at the end, pour it into the pan and eat it as bonus pancakes.

To make the vanilla sauce: Mix the Whey Protein with the milk until smooth.

Serve the apple rings with the vanilla sauce.
