Chocolate Protein Porridge with Figs

There’s no better way to start the day than with chocolate. We can always find ways to make life more chocolatey. Take this protein porridge, for example. But don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about our 5-a-day. We’ve hidden some grated zucchini in amongst the oats, and topped it off with fresh figs: the perfect bite of comfort as the days get shorter and colder.
Preparation

Ingredients:125 g zucchiniGrate the zucchini with a fine grater.

Ingredients:100 g oats, 50 g Instant Oats, 200 ml oat milk, 350 ml water, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 3 tbsp Vegan Protein Chocolate, 2 tbsp White Chia Seeds, 1 tbsp Flavor Kick, 1 pinch saltPut all the ingredients for the porridge (except the figs) into a pot. Cook for about 3 minutes on medium heat. Then reduce to low. Simmer the porridge for 3 more minutes, stirring regularly.

Ingredients:3 figsWhile the porridge is cooking, cut the figs into quarters.

Divide the protein porridge evenly between 3 bowls. Top with yogurt, honey, roasted nuts, and cocoa nibs.
