This golden milk smoothie bowl is a creamy, dreamy breakfast. Made with frozen mango and banana for a thick, fluffy texture which goes perfectly with our creamy vanilla whey protein. Adding fresh ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and cardamom brings the flavour of haldi doodh (i.e. turmeric milk/golden milk) to this fragrant, healthy breakfast recipe.

Ingredients

  • 30 g
    Whey Protein Mango
  • 75 g
    0% fat Greek yogurt
  • 0.5 inch piece
    fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 0.5 tsp
    ground turmeric
  • 0.25 tsp
    black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 pods
    green cardamom
  • 150 g
    frozen mango chunks
  • 1 medium
    frozen banana, peeled, sliced

Preparation

    Blend together the whey protein, yogurt, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and cardamom seeds until smooth. Set aside for 10 minutes so the flavour of the spices can infuse the mixture properly.

    Add the frozen mango and frozen banana and blitz until thick and creamy. Scrape into a bowl and top with your desired fruit and nutsrn
