Homemade chocolate-covered almonds

Raise your hand if you love the thought of Christmas market food, but the ones on offer are just too sweet for you. Or if the markets are just plain closed – crossing our fingers it’s just for this year! Whatever your reason, try these spiced chocolate-covered almonds. Roasted almonds enrobed with our festive, limited-edition Gingerbread Protein Cream sing like poetry for your tastebuds. It’s a simple and delicious idea for the holidays!

Ingredients

6 Persons

  • 70 g
    Protein Cream Gingerbread
  • 1 tbsp
    Coconut oil
  • 100 g
    almonds
  • 1 pinch
    sea salt

Preparation

    Roast the almonds in a dry pan for about 3 minutes, until fragrant.

    Melt the Protein Cream and coconut oil in a bowl over a double boiler.

    Mix the almonds in with the Protein Cream. Stir until each almond is well coated.

    Then set the almonds on a piece of parchment paper, making sure none are touching.

    Sprinkle with sea salt and set in the refrigerator for 1 hour to cool.
