Sticky Toffee Pudding
Moist cake sweetened with dates - no sugar added!
Have you got a sweet tooth? Then you won’t be able to resist this date cake. Soft, sugary sweet and loaded with caramel. That’s a perfect description of sticky toffee pudding, a traditional English dessert. But you won’t find any added sugar here! We turn to the natural sweetness of fruit. And our vanilla Flavor Kick gives the dessert its natural flavor with no extra calories. Dig in!
Preparation

Put the dates and the baking powder into a bowl. Cover with hot water and set aside for 5 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 160° C.

Puree the dates with a blender or immersion blender.

Add the egg and Flavor Kick to the dates and stir.

Sift the spelt flour and Whey Protein into the bowl and mix until a smooth batter is formed.

Pour the batter into 2 greased souffle ramekins and bake for 20 minutes.

Let the sticky toffee pudding cool for a few minutes. Run a knife around the edges of the ramekins to loosen the edges. Turn the ramekins over on top of a plate and gently empty the puddings out. Garnish with toppings of your choice.
