Winter is peak season for kale. Some of you might think of kale as a part of your granny’s stews; others know it as a not-so-new superfood. But if you’ve never had kale chips, there’s no time like the present. Give these crispy, moreish chips a try, and your body will only thank you. We use only the kale leaves to make our kale chips. Not only delicious and packed with flavor, they’re also really easy to make. And unlike the veggie crisps you’ll find at any supermarket, ours are low in fat and calories. Take the whole batch to the couch and gobble it up while you marathon your favorite series. Have we got your attention yet?


  • Backofen auf 150 Grad (Ober-/Unterhitze) vorheizen.
  • Grünkohlblätter waschen und sorgfältig abtrocknen. Mundgerechte Stücke mit den Händen vom Strunk entfernen und in eine große Schüssel geben.
  • Das Kokosöl in der Mikrowelle oder einem Wasserbad verflüssigen. Mit Paprika, Knoblauchpulver und Ahornsirup zu einer Marinade verrühren.
  • Marinade über den Grünkohl geben und mit den Händen gründlich einmassieren.
  • Grünkohlblätter mit Abstand zueinander auf ein mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Backblech legen und für 10 Min. backen.
  • Grünkohlblätter wenden und weitere 15 Min. knusprig backen. Aufpassen, dass sie nicht verbrennen.
  • Grünkohl Chips mit Meersalz bestreuen, etwas auskühlen lassen und dann in eine Schüssel füllen.
