Chocolate Banana Baked Oats
If you like your breakfast on the sweeter side, look no further than these chocolate banana baked oats. Using our instant oats means we can make a smooth batter which bakes into a fluffy, cake-like texture. With banana whey protein, mashed banana and drizzled with chocolate-hazelnut spread.
Ingredients

40 gInstant Oats

15 gWhey Protein Banana

1 tbspunsweetened cocoa powder

0.5 tspbaking powder

1 mediumegg white

1 mediumoverripe banana, mashed (around 100g)

2 tbspwater

1 tspProtein Cream Hazelnut

1 tspmilk chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180C fan.

In a medium bowl, mix the oats, banana whey protein, cocoa powder and baking powder. Add the egg white, mashed banana and water then stir until you get a smooth batter.

Pour the mixture into a small ovenproof dish, making sure there’s some room for it to rise, then bake for 12-15 minutes, until the oats are cooked through.

Remove the baked oats from the oven and, whilst still warm, drizzle with the protein cream and sprinkle on the chocolate chips then serve. You can optionally top the oats with some sliced banana and Greek yogurt, too.
